The CPC has two parts: The Sections (substantive law) and The Orders (First Schedule - rules of procedure). For example, Section 26 says a suit shall be instituted, but Order 7 tells you how to write the plaint.

Pleadings Generally: Rules regarding drafting of Plaint and Written Statement. Must state facts, not law.

Section 9
Courts to try all civil suits: Civil courts have jurisdiction over all suits of a civil nature unless expressly barred.

Res Judicata: No court shall try a suit or issue that has already been decided between the same parties. (You cannot sue twice for the same thing).
